Mechanical Fuel Pump:

Mechanical fuel pumps which is mounted on engine. It contains an airtight, flexible diaphragm attach which is linkage to a rocker arm. The rocker arm rests on offset or an eccentric, section of the engine camshaft. When the engine is running, the rocker arm to back and forth by the eccentric forces for this reason the diaphragm to move up and down. As a result a pumping action that pumps gasoline from the fuel tank to the carburetor.

Electric Fuel Pump:

Electric fuel pump which is mounted on inside of a fuel tank. It is uses electricity from the battery or alternator to operate a plunger, bellows, diaphragm and impeller. As a result pump can supply fuel to carburetor from fuel tank.

Carburetor:

The carburetor is a necessary to a mixing device which mixes liquid gasoline with air. In the fuel system it throws a fine spray of gasoline into air passing through the carburetor on its way to the engine. The gasoline vaporizes and mixes with the air then enters the engine combustion chambers where it is ignited. It burns as a result engine produce power.

How can the problem be remedied : No residual magnetism, reversed field connection and high resistance of field circuit are responsible for the failure of build up process of a dc generator. The factors are explained below: No residual magnetism: For the starting build up process requires some residual magnetism in the magnetic circuit then no voltage will be generated that can produce current flow through field circuit. Reversed field connection: The voltage induced inside the coil of field circuit due to residual magnetism that can permit the flow of current. For the following direction of this flux will be created and the direction of this flux will be same direction as the residual flux. If the field connections are reversed the lines of flux produced by current flow will oppose the residual flux, as a result generate voltage will decrease rather than increase.
