What are the purposes of engine lubrication system?

What are the purposes of engine lubrication system? Lubricating oil is a substance which oil makes possible minimum wear or low friction loss  between adjacent moving surfaces.  The lubricating oil must have  i.                     Lubricate moving parts to minimize wear.  ii.                  To minimize power loss from friction of lubricate moving parts.  iii.                By acting as a cooling agent lubricating oil remove heat from engine. iv.                Lubricating oil reduce engine noise and extending engine life by absorbing shocks between bearings and others engine parts. v.                   Work as a cooling agent. vi.                From a good seal between piston rings and cylinder walls.

Lubrication system , Frame and Chassis

Lubrication system: In a lubrication system there have many moving parts in the engine. Lubricating oil protect the moving parts so that there will be no actual metal to metal contact. The moving parts in effect float on films of oil. Lubricating oil covered the surfaces of the moving parts to prevent metal to metal contact and undo wear of the parts.  Frame and Chassis: A frame is required to support the engine, car body, wheels and other car components. Frames are made of channel or U shape, sections, welded or riveted together. Cross braking makes them rigid enough to withstand the shocks, blows, twists and vibrations all of these occurred in operation.
