Valve Operating Temperature

Test have that under continued full-load conditions, exhaust valves may reach a temperature of 1475 F a cherry red. Valves of large diameter run hotter than smaller ones and the valve temperature increases with engine speed. An increase in the compression ratio as a rule lowers the valve temperature but if the compression is carried too high and detonation sets in, the effects is reversed. It is usually assumed that exhaust valve temperature are highest with retarded ignition and weak mixtures, probably because the exhaust pipe hottest under these conditions, but a larger of number of tests carried out on a particular engine showed that the reverse holds true, the exhaust valve temperature being lower with a weak mixture and retarded ignition. The explanation is that the temperature of the valve depends not only on that of the exhaust gases, but also on the temperature of combustion, which latter is lowered by weaking the mixture and retarding the spark. ...

How can you drive a Flying Car?

A flying car which is also known   to all as a aircraft in street and people can take tour for a short duration or long duration. In whole world or Automobile sector one can see two types of motor one is auto and another is manual, which is more prefer by yourself. Most of the driver in aircraft prefer automated motor. In everyday many company and many scientist try to make a car which is continue or drive in air and street but they are failed to manage it   for a long duration. Glenn Curtiss who is chief of Wright brother designed aircraft in world first time. But it is try to jumped and it is successfully jumped and can not fly. After than all scientist do not stop working in automobile sector for trying to make a aircraft. Waldo Waterman first make the aircraft in 1910. In 1937 firstly go to air with his car Waterman Arrowbile which take attention from all people and amazing to all. In 1940 Jess Dixon fly his car in sky air by using automobile. But some unexpected sce...

Definition of Torsional vibrations, Longitudinal Vibrations And Whirling Speed

Following a axis in a circle when a particles move in a disk or shaft, a vibration is create, these types of vibrations is called Torsional vibrations. In this process shear stress of torsional is induced and tortile shaft or untortile shaft is another way.   A small particle or body is motion with a shaft or disk in parallel and create vibration by Self exciting it is called Longitudinal Vibrations.   In this process shaft is expanded and diminished, Stress is induced as curtail and tensile. By receiving external force   a body or a metal which is resilient in shaft or spring or beam, after applying to external force it is exempt and create a vibratory motion. There are three types of vibration motion one is force and another is free, but also damped vibration is also include....
