Slip casting, Continuous compaction, Vibratory compaction

Vibratory compaction:
In a rigid die pressure and vibration applied at one time to a mass of powder. Finding level of densification it is used lower pressure when we compare it with ordinary die compaction. There have a disadvantage of vibratory compaction such as equipment design of practical apply in tooling and presses.

Continuous compaction:
Continuous compaction mainly used in simple shape some examples are plate, sheet, tube and rod. Most of the commercially techniques entangle following loss powder between set of vertically oriented rolls. The roll small distance is set up a compact of desired properties. When we compare it with operation of conventional rolling powder rolling speed is less.

Slip casting:

Slip casting have some limitations for it’s extent metals and broadly used in ceramics. Slip casting process slip firstly prepared which is free from liquid vehicles and additives to prevent particles setting. Then the slip is placed in mold made of a fluid absorbing material such as plaster of paris  to from the slip casting. After removed from the mold slip casting is adhesive  and sintered. Attractive of materials this technique is used. Materials are relatively incompressible by conventional die compaction. But this process does not lend itself to high production rate because it takes a long duration for removed liquid porosity of the mold.
