When work piece attach with locating and it no move up and down or any where or small distance where it set up. This pressure is called clamping. The mechanism of clamping is called clamp. Tool is used it is called clamp and this pressure is called clamping. People find various types of clamps such as Hydraulic and pneumatic clamp, Latch, Toggle, Cam, Wedge or key, Strap, Rock and pinion and Screw.

Clamping should be work as a high speed that’s means quick mechanism. When force applied in the work piece clamping should be given a positive feedback. It is fully depends on work piece. So one should learn all types of clamping advantages and disadvantages. But hydraulic clamping is more popular and moderate for all.
