How one solves the problem of Air Dryer?

Condition 1:

Pressure dew point too high

Fault:

1.      Air inlet temperature too high.

2.      Ambient  temperature too high

3.      Shortage of refrigerant

4.      Refrigerant compressor does not run

5.      Evaporator pressure too high

6.      Condenser pressure too high.

Remedy:

1.      Check and correct, if necessary must clean the after cooler of the compressor

2.      Check and correct if necessary draw cooling air via a duct from a cooler place or relocate the compressor

3.      Have circuit checked for leaks and recharged.

4.      Clean condenser

5.      Have hot gas bypass valve adjusted

6.      Clean condenser and clean the fan

Condition 2:

Condenser pressure too high or too low

Fault:

1.      Fan control switch out of order

2.      Fan blades or fan motor out of order

3.      Ambient temperature too high

4.      Condenser externally clogged

Remedy:

1.      Replace the fan control switch

2.      Check Fan or Fan motor

3.      Check and correct if necessary draw cooling air via a duct from a cooler place or relocate the compressor

4.      Clean condenser

Condition 3:

3.1. Compressor Stop or does not start

 Fault:

1.      Electric power supply to compressor is interrupted

2.      Thermal protection of refrigerant compressor motor has tripped

 Remedy:

1.      Check and correct as necessary by electrician.

2.      Motor will restart when motor windings have cooled down.

 Condition 4:

Electronic condensate drain remains inoperative.

Fault:

Electronic drain system clogged.

Remedy:

Must system inspect? Clean the filter automatic drain by opening the manual drain vlave. Check the functioning of the drain by pushing the test button.

Condition 5:

Condensate trap continuously discharges air and water

Fault:

Automatic drain out of order

Remedy:

Check the system of automatic drain if necessary replace the automatic drain.

Condition 6:
 

Evaporation pressure is too high or too low at unload

Fault:

1.      Hot gas valve incorrectly set or out of order

2.      Condenser pressure too high or too low

3.      Shortage of refrigerant.

Remedy:

1.      Have hot gas bypass valve adjusted

2.      Clean condenser

3.      Have circuit checked for leaks and recharged.
